From the school of the legendary Lennie Tristano, the mid-50 year old Lester actually studied under one of Tristano’s most
acclaimed students, Sal Mosca. Having spent most of his time constructing his musical concept with only occasional
performances, Lester recently performed at Roulette in New York City from which he produced this, his most recent recording.
