Canadian vocalist, composer and poet Lara Solnicki makes her NYC and Cornelia Street Cafe debut in a concert featuring Marta Sanchez, piano and Rick Rosato, bass. A vocal purist whose repertoire includes Henry Purcell, her poetic compositions, Kate Bush as well as standards, the artists will be performing a range of material, including songs from her acclaimed second CD "Whose Shadow", released in 2015 on Greg Osby's Inner Circle Music label.

"A spellbinding voice... boldly unique style... a vocal purist... riveting. With exceptional tonal control and her mastery of inflection, Lara Solnicki has without doubt, affirmed her position as a world class jazz singer." − Everett. R. Davis, All About Jazz

"Lara Solnicki's voice is dark and sweet and invites you in with such ease you find yourself changing plans for the rest of the night." − Tom Allen, Musician, Broadcaster, Host of Shift, CBC Radio 2
