Winner of both first prize and the Public's Choice Award at the 2014 Montreux Jazz Festival International Guitar Competition, Alex has gathered a group of peers for his new CD who are quickly forging a path forward for the music’s next generation. Second Act reveals a vision shaped by New York's thriving music scene and by the dedicated and accomplished group of musicians with whom he has surrounded himself. The group recorded after touring throughout Canada in 2016 and will be using this concert to release the music for the first time in their home city of New York.
