...Madeleine Beckman is a poet, fiction, and nonfiction writer. She is the recipient of awards from, among other institutions, the Poetry Society of America, the New York Foundation for the Arts, and the Irish Arts Council of Ireland. Her fellowships include Fundación Valparaíso (ES), Ragdale, and Virginia Center for the Creative Arts. Her poetry collections include Hyacinths from the Wreckage, No Roadmap, No Brakes; and Dead Boyfriends. She is a Contributing Reviewer for the Bellevue Literary Review, and Contributing Editor for Agora, the arts journal of New York University School of Medicine. Madeleine received her B.A. and M.A. from New York University, and her M.F.A. from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She teaches at New York University School of Medicine in the Division of Medical Humanities, and privately.

Laryssa Wirstiuk lives in Jersey City, NJ with her mini dachshund Charlotte Moo. Laryssa's collection of short stories, The Prescribed Burn, won Honorable Mention in the 21st annual Writer's Digest Self-Published Book Awards. Her poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction have been published in Gargoyle Magazine, Word Riot, Barely South Review, and Up The Staircase Quarterly.

Felice Aull is a poet, medical humanities scholar, and medical educator. Her chapbook, The Music Behind Me, was published in 2012. She is adjunct associate professor of medicine in the division of medical humanities at NYU School of Medicine. In 1993 she founded the online Literature, Arts, and Medicine Database, a widely used and continually updated resource for teaching and scholarship in medical humanities. She is on the editorial board of the Bellevue Literary Review and is a contributing editor of the journal, Literature and Medicine.
